Gaerne Waterproof Polish can be used on the leather or synthetic leather parts of Gaerne boots. Recommend using it on the boots at the time of purchase (before wearing them for the first time), daily maintenance, after season and before storage. Please note that the leather can dry and be damaged if not maintained. It contains hard paraffin and has high waterproofness, and the leather-retaining component supplements the oil content of the boot to prevent it from drying. Unlike animal oils, leather is soft and durable, so even if you perform frequent maintenance, your boots will not lose their shape. Since it is not sticky, it is less likely to get dust.
Maintenance method: Remove parts Remove all removable parts such as insoles, buckles, and shoelaces. You can perform maintenance without removing it, but it is recommended to remove it because the gap of the buckle and the part where the shoe lace hits are easily damaged. Remove dirt on the entire surface. Use a brush to remove dirt on the entire boot. For dirt that is hard to remove, use a wet towel that has been wrung tightly. Apply waterproof polish First apply a small amount with a finger or sponge. Overcoating will make the leather unnecessarily soft. Also, in the case of light-colored leather, the color may become deeply discolored. After applying it all over, let it stay for some time. If you think that it is not enough, you can reapply it over the whole area bit by bit. Finishing Finish with a soft cloth. At this time, wipe off any excess cream. Assemble back all the parts and the work is completed.
*Note Please use it on the leather or synthetic leather part of Gaerne boots. Please refrain from using the following parts: Suede part (VOYAGER GORE-TEX suede, G-MIDLAND inner part, etc.) Plastic part (MX boot protection part, etc.) Rubber part (sole part, etc.)
